The McStay Family

THE MCSTAY FAMILY

At 7:47 PM, Joseph receives a phone call from a business associate that involves him taking a trip, regarding business, and the rest of his family has to come along. Calls are exchanged between the two throughout the trip, most likely to give directions. About 8:30, it’s revealed that the whole trip was a ruse to lead the family to their death. The business partner wasn’t at the scene, but two unknown males show up in front of their vehicle and murder the family at the scene. Their cell phones are discarded in the process, which leads me to believe that the Bonsall bridge is the scene of the crime. The bodies are then transported into the killers’ vehicle and taken to an isolated area north of the scene (Victorville), and one of the killers leaves with the McStays’ vehicle, thus creating the two sets of tire tracks leading to the graves. Each car likely contains two bodies.

Analysis: This is a crime with multiple people involved in this crime, as expected when four people disappear out of nowhere. Two men were paid off to commit this crime, while the masterminds aren’t present at the scene to stage their alibis. The motive is money and power, and Joseph McStay seems to have doublecrossed the wrong people in the process. The main mastermind is an older male in his 50s, who has connection to the area where the bodies were found, and possibly even dug the graves beforehand.  He has a history of shady business tactics and possibly Joseph McStay found out the hard way. Another one is a younger male in his early 30s, who is familiar with the area that the Isuzu Trooper was found in. and his motive in this was to have more control over the business. The other mastermind is a very close relative of the McStays, who has had disputes over money with the family and owed debt to them that he wouldn’t pay up. He was also jealous of Joseph’s success and wanted control of the business himself. Letters C, D, and M. The mysterious knock on the McStays’ door the previous night plays a part in this.

  1. There isn't any record of a phone call at 7:47 PM or thereafter until 8:38 PM, a single call to Chase Merritt.
There's no way two deceased corpses could have been in the McStay vehicle as LE would have found some type of evidence. The tire impressions at the graves were made by one vehicle, not two. Also, those tracks weren't left until 2-3 days after the 4th. So they didn't go straight from Bonsall to Victorville.
Your analysis isn't revelation. It's common sense based on what is in the News and on the Net regarding people interviewed who are associated with the McStays. You can't possibly expect anyone to believe you divined all this information when it's available online?
