John and Elizabeth Calvert

JOHN AND ELIZABETH CALVERT

At around 5:30, the Calverts were at a meeting with a business associate. This man was in charge of business finances, so an accountant? The meeting was over money, and how this man was not doing his job properly. They knew what he was up to. With this man's desire for money and not wanting his reputation ruined, he murdered the Calverts in the office and hid the bodies in a swampy area nearby. This could have been planned to as I get the feeling that he knew the Calverts were onto him.

Analysis: The motive for this crime was money. This man had some wealthy clients, and thus took advantage of them. When they found out what he was doing, it was time for them to go. Letter D.

  1. Yes I agree. the accountant DEFINITELY murdered the Calvert couple, although I do not believe their bodies were dumped in a swampy area. They would have been found by now. Keep in mind, their bodies have NEVER been found. Bodies that are thrown in bodies of water (and a swamp counts as a body of water) usually eventually come to the surface because of the gases that build in the body as it decomposes. I believe he dismembered their bodies and, most likely, dumped the parts into different dumpsters. MOST cases that I've read about where the bodies have not been found, they were put into dumpsters. Its a fantastic way of disposing of a body because garbage by definition stinks and can easily mask the smell of body decomposition. Also, the garbge eventually makes its way to a landfill where it is dumped under other massive piles of garbage, making a body or body parts VERY difficult, if not next to impossible, to locate. even dogs would have a hard time tracking a smell in a landfill.
