TARA GRINSTEAD
Around Midnight, Tara is at her house with a male friend.
While she views him as just a friend, he is very attracted to her. They talk
and he leaves somewhere around 12:30 AM. Tara then reenters the house and
shortly afterwards someone enters her house unexpectedly. He has medium length
hair that goes just below his ears. He has no connection to the man who just
left. She doesn’t know this man, but he has a violent history and his whole
purpose is to harm Tara. Tension occurs and this guy forces Tara to change her
clothes with a threat of violence. They argue outside right after and Tara is
placed into a truck. She is driven to an isolated area, where she is brutally
murdered. The body is burned in this spot. Her body is then moved to a farm
area.
Analysis: The murderer had no ties with Tara, but this was
no random crime. He had connections to a love interest of Tara’s, a VERY
jealous one. One who has a history of alcohol and drug abuse and links to the military. He hires this guy
to do the job while staging an alibi. He arrives later in the morning to use
Tara’s car to drive to the site to see the burial spot, and then drives it
back. Love and jealousy is the motive here. Letters M and G. The burning
building and Ford Explorer are also a part of this crime.
